Economic development agency Auckland Unlimited is way down the track to ensure the country s biggest city is well placed for recovery following the Covid pandemic and that it becomes an even stronger magnet to attract skilled talent and investment.

(Togo First) - Togo will benefit from Morocco’s expertise to launch its Social and Economic Council (CES). Last Monday, a work session between a delegation of the CES and the Moroccan Social, Economic, and Environmental Council (CESE) took place in the framework.
The Moroccan delegation was led by Younes Benakki, secretary-general of the CESE and secretary of the African Union of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (UCESA).
Christian Trimua, the Togolese minister of human rights, who led the work session, ascribed the decision to choose Morocco to the fact that he chairs the UCESA.
March 04, 2021 AUTOMATED systems and processes including an online payment method accessible to applicant investors or current locators in economic zones will soon be adopted in the Mactan Economic Zone, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza) said.
Peza Director General Charito Plaza said this is part of the agency’s initiatives in line with Republic Act 11032, also known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Services Delivery Act of 2019” that aims to improve transaction systems and procedures.
“Economic zones in Mactan and Baguio City will begin using the system in the next few weeks with the scanners recently deployed,” Plaza said.

If the good job China has done in its elimination of abject poverty, its successful containing of the spread of the novel coronavirus and the impressive performance of its economy provide some clues as to how well the country s governance fares, the ongoing annual sessions of the National People s Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People s Political Consultative Conference, known as the two sessions, undoubtedly provide a window for a glimpse as to why it fares so well.
